Corry Zondergeld

Corry Zondergeld, born in Rotterdam in 1970, graduated from the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague in 1994, with part of her final work exhibited at the Gemeentemuseum. After her studies, she focused on realism, honing her drawing skills and anatomical knowledge sketching at various medical faculties. Between 2007 and 2010, she discovered a passion for the "wet-on-wet" painting technique while studying under master painter Matthijs Röling. In her work she emphasizes direct brushwork, although she occasionally employs a palette knife to enhance her artistic expression.
